9. 9 Avoiding ADA violations Current DFAS policy is to obligate funds to cover PDs when they become 120 days old. If sufficient funds are not available, this could cause ADA violation. The moratorium report identifies which LOAs will cause potential ADA violation, five months into the future at the MC, FY, APPN, SUBH level. This advance notice allows problems to be worked before they cause ADA violation.
