  • Devise an efficient system to report malfunctioning light fixtures on campus
    • Increase public participation in maintenance services
    • Improve effectiveness of maintenance process

  • 4 people on the O & M staff are responsible for 4000 outdoor light fixtures on-campus
  • Most broken lights go unreported
  • Majority of campus community is concerned with state of outdoor lighting
