  2. THERE IS ALWAYS A RETURN OF GOD THAT WILL CAUSE YOU TO BE HAPPY, JUST AS GOD IS HAPPY WITH OUR OFFERINGS.

  3. MANY ARE GIVING GOD WHAT HE HAS NOT ASKED FOR.

  4. GOD DOES NOT RESPECT THAT. YOU WILL NOT GET THE SAME RESPONSE AS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN HAD YOU GIVE WHAT GOD ASKED.

  5. GIVE GOD WHAT HE EXACTLY ASKS. • FAITH COMES FROM HEARING AND HEARING THE WORD OF GOD. PRACTISE TO HEAR FROM GOD. THAT PLEASES HIM.

  6. ABRAHAM’S FAITH WAS NOT ONLY ON WHAT HE HAD HEARD, BUT ALSO WHAT HE KEPT HEARING FROM GOD. • NEVER STOP HEARING FROM GOD AND BEING OBEDIENT TO HIS WORDS.

  7. GOD’S DREAM IS BETTER THAN YOUR DREAMS.

  8. HEB 4: 12 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  9. GOD WILL GIVE YOU A WORD. IF YOU GO THROUGH WITH THE WORD, THE WORD WILL GO THROUGH YOU.

  10. SOMETIMES GOD DISPERSES HIS RESPONSIBILITIES TO DIFFERENT PEOPLE. • IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE ROLE GOD GIVES YOU, GOD WILL DISCIPLINE YOU.

  11. DISCIPLINE IS THE LONG WAY TO GET TO YOUR PURPOSE. OBEDIENCE IS THE SHORT CUT.

  12. YOU CAN OBEY NOW, OR YOU CAN OBEY LATER. BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO OBEY EVENTUALLY.

  13. ROMANS 12: 1 • 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

  14. ONCE WE BEGIN OBEY GOD, THE THINGS THAT ARE UNREASONABLE BEGIN TO BE REASONABLE.

  15. 2 CORINTHIANS 10:5 • 5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; {imaginations: or, reasonings}

  16. FOR EVERY THOUGHT THE DEVIL MAY BRING, GOD HAS A HIGHER THOUGHT.

  17. YOU MAY BE AT A LOW PLACE, BUT GOD HAS HIGHER THOUGHTS FOR YOU.

  18. 17 ¶ And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

  19. 18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

  20. 19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

  21. 20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

  22. 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

  23. 22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? • 23 Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

  24. 24 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. • 25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God. • 26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

  25. YOU CAN TRY TO FILL YOUR HEART WITH THE WORLDLY THINGS BUT YOU CANNOT SUCCEED. • THE ETERNAL HOLE IN YOUR HEART CAN ONLY BE FILLED BY ETERNAL LOVE FROM OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
