  2. Evelyn’s Teaching Philosophy I plan to create a safe environment for my students. I want them to be able to learn and more importantly-want learn. I would be a strict teacher at first to develop and establish routine then once the students have adapted and learnt this, I will concentrate on constructing a classroom that supports co-operative learning, and facilitate a fun learning environment. I believe that students learn much more when the knowledge being learnt is relevant to their lives and to themselves, so I will try to create lessons that the students can relate to and relevant to them. I obviously want my students to like me, however I will not use rewards to encourage this or their want for learning. I will encourage student intrinsic motivation by explaining to the students that with learning comes knowledge and with knowledge comes empowerment. This is a philosophy I stand by personally and so will encourage in my students.

  3. Evelyn is… • I am passionate person and love teaching children. • I am a good listener who is caring a lot. • I believe that I have got a lot of potential. • I get along with children, parents, colleagues, • administrators , and community members.

My goal is… I think English is a universal language which should be taught to students for future use and the knowledge and information society of the 21st century is not a rote training but self-led. If given the chance, I want to be an educator who focuses on researching English teaching techniques that would fit the needs of the changing society.

  9. Class Activities A thousand hearingsarenot worth one seeing. To see for oneself is worth All the books of travel. I think , having an experiment is new ways of English teaching method for children. They never forget this experience. Baking Soda and Vinegar Erupting Volcano

  10. Project Art Playing King of the Jungle My dear lovely Cat Every Friday I have great time with my students. Enjoy & Learn (Years 7, 10,11 ) Learning feelings..happy, sad, upset, surprised, shy, angry, tired etc… Using the real dry branches for decorating picture. Project Art aims to close the gap in access to arts education for youth,in a highly innovative, collaborative and cost-effective way.

  11. History One of my students won the top prize from ESU Korea among the 3rd graders in 2014. And the other student placed 3rd at 8th ESU Korea Public Speaking competition in 2014 I made 5 kinds of different scripts for my students. I was so glad that we created those results.
