  13. Legislation In Bangladesh, HSE activities should be designed and regulated under Factory act 65 • As per Factory act 65: • The following things must be addressed under Safety: • 1. Precaution in case of fire • 2. Fencing of machinery • 3. Work on or near machinery in motion • 4. Employment of young persons on dangerous machines • 5. Protection of eyes • 6. Explosive or inflammable dust, gas • 7. Pressure plant • 8. Floor, stumps, opening in floor

Legislation In Bangladesh, HSE activities should be designed and regulated under Factory act 65 • As per Factory act 65: • The following things must be addressed under Welfare: • 1.Washing facilities • 2. First aid appliances: • 1 for 150 employees • 1 Dispensary or clinic for 500 employees • 3. Canteens: 1 canteen for 250 or more employees • 4. Shelters or rest room: > 100 employees • 5. Rooms for children: > 50 female employees • 6. Welfare officer: > 500 employees

Disposal of wastes and effluents • 3. Ventilation • 4. Dust and fumes • 5. Artificial humidification • 6. Overcrowding • 7. Lighting • 8. Drinking water • 9. Latrines and urinals • 10. Spittoon
