  3. Koinonia Acts 2:41 Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day. 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 2:43 Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 2:44 All the believers were together and had everything in common.

  4. Koinonia 2:45 Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 2:46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 2:47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

  5. God Created Us To Be Together Acts 2:44 “…ALL THAT BELIEVED WERE TOGETHER…” Eccl 4:9-10 9Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: 10If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

  6. The Focus Of Our Fellowship Acts 2:42 says, “THEY DEVOTED THEMSELVES TO THE APOSTLES’ TEACHING AND TO FELLOWSHIP,TO THE BREAKING OF BREAD AND TO PRAYER.”

  7. COMMUNITY we are commanded in Hebrews 10:25 not to, “…GIVE UP MEETING TOGETHER, AS SOME ARE IN THE HABIT OF DOING, BUT LET US ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER….”

  8. STRENGTH Psalm 61:2 David cried out to God for help saying, “….I CALL TO YOU….AS MY HEART GROWS FAINT….” Overwhelmed by the trials, heartaches and burdens of life he called out to God for help and strength. Then in verse 5 he rejoiced because God had answered his plea.“YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME,” he said, “THE HERITAGE OF THOSE WHO FEAR YOUR NAME…”

  9. MINISTRY Verse 44 says, “ALL THE BELIEVERS WERE TOGETHER AND HAD EVERYTHING IN COMMON.”

  10. GUIDANCE Ephesians 3:10 declares that “GOD’S INTENT WAS THAT NOW, THROUGH THE CHURCH, THE MANIFOLD WISDOM OF GOD SHOULD BE MADE KNOWN.” Hebrews 3:13 says, “EXHORT ONE ANOTHER….THAT NONE OF YOU BE HARDENED BY THE DECEITFULNESS OF SIN.”

  11. DIFFICULTIES 1 Peter 2:5 (KJV) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
