  2. 1. Software Installation For proper system installation of the Cigati vCard Duplicate Remover, your computer should have the minimum configuration requirements that are mentioned below. Minimum System Requirements Processor Hard Disk Memory Operating System Intel® Pentium 1GHZ Processor(x86, x64) or equivalent 500MB of Free Hard Disk Space Required Minimum 512MB (1GB Recommended) Windows 10 and all below Versions Installing the Software To install the Cigati vCard Duplicate Remover, you need to follow the below installation steps precisely. Firstly, navigate to the Cigati Solutions website. Go to the vCard Duplicate Remover page and download the tool. Now, click on the downloaded file to start the installation setup. Press the Next icon to proceed further in the steps. Choose the location on your PC to install the software and hit Next. Once the installation completes, tap on Finish to exit the setup. ● ● ● ● ● ●

  5. 3. Working Procedure of the Software Step 1? Download the Cigati vCard Duplicate Remover and Run it as an Administrator.

  6. Step 2? Click the Add Files or Add Folders button to browse the vCard (VCF) file(s).

  7. Step 3? Select the VCF File and click on the Open button.

  8. Step 4? After Selecting VCF Files click on the Next button to proceed further.

  9. Step 5? Filter your result with Duplicate Filters Setting. All Fields: Remove duplicate contacts based on all fields. Use Selective Duplicate Setting: Delete identical contacts based on First Name, Last Name, Mobile Number, and Email Address. ● ●

  10. Step 6? Choose the appropriate Saving Option. Save Contacts on the basis of First Name, Last Name, Mobile Number, and Email Address. Save Contacts on the basis of the vCard File name. Check the Create a Single VCF option to merge all the files into one. ● ● ● Note: If you choose to Save Contacts based on the First Name or any other field, and your selected file contains contacts without that particular field, the software will save them using the vCard file name.

  11. Step 7? Define the Log Path and Temp Path, then click on the File Path to set the location for saving the output file.

  12. Step 8? Click on the Next button to start the removal process of duplicate contacts.

  13. Step 9? Lastly, click on the Download Report button to analyze the process.
