Article 31Facts About Wood Burning • Indoor Wood Stoves • 300-400 cord per year sold by Rusty’s Tree Service alone to Sudbury and surrounding town’s • A Supplemental Heat Source • 75-80% of Wood Stoves in use today are not EPA Certified • To install a wood stove today in Sudbury, it does not have to be EPA certified only UL certified. • 1,099 Outdoor Burning Permits issued (1 out of 5 homes) • Fire Fighting Academy Burns 10-12 times a day simulating a small house fire for training purposes
