  2. APEGS Canada Temporary licence: A Temporary Licence is issued to those professional engineers who are registered in the State of Texas or with a Cedula in Mexico. These engineers have a bachelor’s degree, and they fulfill the requirements given below. This yearly licence is known as ‘temporary’, as it can only be renewed for up to three years. A Temporary Licensee applicant doesn’t need to write the Professional Practice Exam, which is also called PPE. A Temporary Licensee is not an APEGS member, and due to this, they can’t take part in the governance of the Association. If unqualified for a temporary licence, you need to follow the same application steps as an Engineer-in-Training-International Graduate. If you need your licence in Saskatchewan for more than 3 years, you need to become a Professional Engineer. When you submit your application, you need to pick the application type ‘Professional Engineer from Temporary Licensee’. There is no fee for this application. However, you need to write and pass the Professional Practice Exam before you are eligible to apply. APEGS Canada Temporary licence requirements: There are two ways available to become a Temporary Licensee given below: 1. You need an accredited bachelor’s degree with 12 years of total work experience. 2. You need a non-accredited bachelor’s degree with 16 years of total work experience. If having a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized program in the USA (AEC-ABET) or Mexico (CACEI), you are required to have a minimum of 12 years of professional-level engineering experience, which includes 8 years post licensure. It’s not necessary that this experience was earned in Texas, and the eight years post-licensure can be as of attaining a PE licence in any state. APEGS Canada Engineering Licence application process: To begin, you need to first determine if your bachelor’s program is recognized: Hire an APEGS Canada expert to know more about the Engineering Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology, USA. After that, create an account (or Log in if you have already an account). Check your email for an ‘APEGS sign up verification’. The link here will take you directly to the APEGS Central homepage.
