TEAM PRIORITIES: ENGAGEand Encourage • Warm and sincere greeting, handshake • Help people feel welcome, noticed, and comfortable • Supply bulletins • Assist people as they enter and leave • IDEAL TEAM SIZE (per service) • 6-7 Members: • Lead Greeter • West Lobby 2-3 Greeters • Easy Lobby 3 Greeters OVERVIEW

Lead Greeter • Arrive 20 minutes before the start of the service • Stay 5-7 minutes after the service starts • Greeters • Arrive at least 15 minutes before the service starts • Stay 5-7 minutes after the service starts • AFTER SERVICE • If at all possible (not required) return after the service to the entrance where you were posted to greet people and thank them for their attendance Times for Service

Put on name tag, a positive attitude and a SMILE! • Greet and supply bulletins • Have one team member be alert to the entry door as their priority - hold the door for elderly, handicapped, people with arms full, mothers with small children, etc. • Refer those with questions you can’t answer or needs you can’t meet to the guest center or to an usher • Find a replacement if you are unable to serve! GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  6. BEFORE THE SERVICE • Check bulletin supplies in both lobbies • Make sure the lobbies are staffed. Recruit help in case of unexpected absence/no show • Be alert for newcomers and special needs • Coordinate with lead usher to recruit regular attendees for extra help with doors and as parking lot escorts during poor weather conditions (icy surfaces, heavy rain) • AFTER THE SERVICE • Be at the East Lobby to thank people for attending SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITESLead Greeter
