  2. Regional Contact Point (RCP) Background • Effective body for communicating objectives • Local and Regional Representation • Implementation of Programme • Future Awareness Raising Process

  3. RCP Tasks • Working at grass root level • Facilitate project generation process • Arrange networking activities • Ensure Regional Advisory Groups (RAGs) appraisal • Regional Appraisal Process – preparatory projects

  4. Common Activities for all RCPs • Networking and dissemination – assisting Secretariat to promote programme • Annual networking event – NPP Project Partners within a Region • Yearly RCP/Programme Secretariat meeting • Partenariats or Thematic meetings • Annual Conference or Lead Partner Seminar • Regional Press Release • Produce information for Region

  5. Project Generation • New application developments • Main advisory body to idea holders • Liaise with Secretariat and other RCPs • Guidance on information

  6. Project Appraisal Process • Assist Programme Secretariat in assessment process – preparatory projects • Organise RAG meetings • Reporting secretary at RAG meeting

  7. Other • Assist Programme Secretariat – PMC meetings • Report – Annual Activity Report
