  2. 딤전6:10 돈을 사랑함이 일만 악의 뿌리가 되나니 이것을 사모하는 자들이 미혹을 받아 믿음에서 떠나 많은 근심으로써 자기를 찔렀도다 (HRV) • 1 Tim 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. (NIV) 돈을 사랑하십니까?

  3. 딤전3:3 술을 즐기지 아니하며 구타하지 아니하며 오직 관용하며 다투지 아니하며 돈을 사랑치 아니하며 (HRV) • 1 Tim 3:3 not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. (NIV)

  13. 난 부탁했다. 나는 신에게 나를 강하게 만들어 달라고 부탁했다. 내가 원하는 모든 걸 이룰 수 있도록. 하지만 신은 나를 약하게 만들었다. 겸손해지는 법을 배우도록... I asked God for strength, that I might achieve,I was made weak, that I might learn humbly to obey;

  14. 나는 신에게 건강을 부탁했다. 더 큰 일을 할 수 있도록. 하지만 신은 내게 허약함을 주었다. 더 의미 있는 일을 하도록... I asked for health, that I might do greater things,I was given infirmity, that I might do better things;

  15. 나는 부자가 되게 해 달라고 부탁했다. 행복할 수 있도록. 하지만 난 가난을 선물로 받았다. 지혜로운 사람이 되도록... I asked for riches, that I might be happy,I was given poverty, that I might be wise;

  16. 나는 재능을 달라고 부탁했다. 사람들의 찬사를 받을 수 있도록, 하지만 난 열등감을 선물로 받았다. 신의 필요성을 느낄 수 있도록... I asked for power, that I might have the praise of man,I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God;

  17. 나는 신에게 모든 것을 부탁했다. 삶을 누릴 수 있도록. 하지만 신은 삶을 선물했다. 모든 것을 누릴 수 있도록... I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life,I was given life, that I might enjoy things;

  18. 나는 내가 부탁한 것을 하나도 받지 못했지만 내게 필요한 모든 걸 선물로 받았다. 나는 작은 존재임에도 신은 내 무언의 기도를 다 들어주셨다. 모든 사람들 중에서 나는 가장 축복받은 자다. I got nothing that I asked for - but everything I had hoped for,Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered,I am among all men, most richly blessed.
