Different wedding rituals of the Jain community Lagan Patrika Vachan After finding a perfect match in Jain matrimony Ahemdabad and meeting of both families, Jain groom is required to perform the Vinayakyantra puja, where their priest will read a letter about wedding details at groom’s house. This letter reading ritual is called Lagan Patrika Vachan.

  3. Different wedding rituals of the Jain community Lagna Lekhan It is another small puja at the Jain bride's house, where both families have to participate. The priest further decides the wedding date and exact wedding time as per astrological numbers.

During this ceremony, the married females from the bride’s side also sing traditional folk songs for celebrating the auspicious occasion.

After completing the scared seven pheras, the bride becomes Vamangi, officially the better half the groom. After that, they are supposed to exchange flower garlands.
