  1. Project: The Experimental Beam Physics group needed a miniature gas nozzle for puffing a well-shaped gas plume for a laser wakefield accelerator. DesignWorks provided design and fabrication support for a nozzle that provides a narrow and long plume. The design needed to fit within the existing poppet valve system and required accurate machining of the gas flow path.
