  3. Price Revision Catalogue Price revision catalogue – allows you to modify prices of all items or selected ones from a specific date (Effective date). Features of price revision catalogue in Shoper 9: Any price revision can either be an increase or decrease and can affect either Retail Price or Dealer Price or both. Price revisions are applied based on stock numbers. You can also import the price revisions defined at HO. Text files called SHPR are used to send price revisions from HO.

  4. Enhancements in Rel 1.4 • Now, it is possible to apply price revisions based on any of the Item classifications, in a Chain store environment. Steps to apply price revisions based on any of the Item classifications are: • Create the required master data in flat file format. The master data can have the details pertaining to the required item classification based on which the price revision has to be applied. • Create a new .ini file to configure data import into price revision table (data table) in Shoper 9 HO. • Import the master data into price revision table in Shoper 9 HO. • Send the price revision details to the required POS location either by automatedschedule or by data export option. • The new option Price Revision Authorisation under Setup > Supervisory Functions is provided to authorize the price revisions that are imported at POS from a Head Office (HO).

  6. Authentication of Price Revisions at POS Price Revision Authorisation option is introduced under Setup > Supervisory Functions. It is useful for showrooms like franchisee stores or any other showroom which has the choice to accept or reject price revisions sent from their Head Office. The price revisions imported at POS from an HO can be approved or rejected, either automatically or manually based on the parameter settings. Note: You can approve or reject any price revision record before it is applied. This can be done to price revision records created at the POS location too.

  8. Execution of Price Revision at POS Price revision is executed at a POS location based on the parameter If Price Revisions are Applicable, Activate Immediately under the category Item Master. Note: If a price revision is loaded at a later stage, i.e., Shoper date is greater than Effective date, the system will not update the transactions in this period.

  9. Price Revision Report Price Revision Report: In Shoper 9 POS is available under Catalogue > Listings. Gives the details of all price revisions created in the system for the selected items in the specified date range. Can be filtered for selected stock numbers or any combination of five basic item classifications, if required. Can be exported to MS Excel.
