  1. 5 steps required to perform UAT 1. Develop a well-defined plan: The strategy is outlined in order to make sure and verify whether the application is in line with the business requirements. Timelines of testing, test cases approach, test scenarios and exit criteria for UAT are properly documented. 2. Initiating the design process: The acceptance criteria that have been gathered from the users are used in this step. A list of UAT test cases is given to the users by the QA team. 3. Executing UAT test: Test cases need to be executed and bugs need to be reported if any. Once the bugs are fixed, it needs to be re-tested again. The application can be effectively tested in the UAT environment by the team through the strategic use of test cases. 4. Evaluate whether the business requirements have been properly met: After the UAT testing, UAT testers and business analysts need to send a sign-off mail. Once the sign-off is done, the product can be moved to the production stage. 5. Ascertaining the Exit criteria: Following are the key points that need to be considered: Crucial defects should not be opened The business process works in a streamlined manner UAT sign off meeting with all the key members and stakeholders
