  2. The Place of Prophecy • To show us this isn’t an accident. • Rules of prophecy: (1) It must be such an unveiling of the future that no mere human foresight or wisdom could have guessed it. (2) The prediction must deal in sufficient details to exclude shrewd guesswork. (3) There must be such lapse of time between the prophecy and the fulfillment as precludes the agency of the prophet effecting of affecting the result.

  3. Jesus and The Apostles Claims: • O.T. promises a Messiah – Gen. 12:3; 2 Sam. 7:12f; Jer. 23:5-6; Isa. 9; Mal. 3:1 • Jesus claimed – John 5:39, 46; Luke 24:44-45. • Apostles Claimed – Acts 3:18, 21, 24; 10:43; 13:27; 17:2-3
