  1. 2 MINUTE PEARLSCreating Profiles in AHLTA • Would you like to be able to easily create a new Profile using AHLTA? • Would you like to be able to easily “renew” or create a new Profile from a previous Profile that you wrote? • This can be done efficiently from the AHLTA Army Readiness module. • Note: Every facility should have the Army Readiness module turned on. If it not turned on at your facility, you should request it from your IMD/SAIC section

  2. Creating a New Profile 2) Click on New Profile 3) Next select As a Blank Physical Profile, then okay. 1) After selecting a Patient, open the Army Readiness Module by clicking on the + sign to expand the tree and then select the Profile Module. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 2 of 9

  3. Fill in all information pertaining to PT 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 3 of 9

  4. You will need to type your name. After completing all information select Save button. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 4 of 9

  5. You can print the profile for the soldier and physically sign if needed. You may also choose the Save as Template button and store the Profile as a template for future use. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 5 of 9

  6. 2 MINUTE PEARLSCreating Profiles in AHLTA using a Template • Creating a new Profile from a saved Template or AMEDD Template • Note: You may edit a Patient’s existing Profile by selecting his/her previous Profile and save it again. • Note: If you need an approving signature, you can type their name on the profile and print. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 6 of 9

  7. 1) Select the New Profile button 2) Select the “Using Selected Template dial.” Then select a template from the list Profiles then select Okay. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 7 of 9

  8. REMEMBER: To close the profile module before starting a second profile. This will ensure that you are writing a profile on the correct patient and Help reduce locking of the system. Make correction to the preconfigured or previously entered information. Update and complete the rest of the information and save the Profile. 2 Minute Pearls AHLTA Patient Profile 8 of 9
