Acceptable absences: Illness Family Emergency Family Obligations Academic Study Employment School related athletics or extra-curricular activities Conflicting CAP activities Notification (Excused Absence) Unexcused Absence (UA) Extended Absence (LOA) Must give written notice. Inactive Member Inactive Status 6 UA’s in 3 consecutive months Attendance

  7. Participation • Participate: To take a part, or have a share in common with others; to take part in; receive a part of. • Physical • Mental • Proper Equipment • Charlie Flight Materials List

  8. Activities • Approved Activities • Comply with CAP Regulations • Planned from within the Squadron • Definite start time, stop time, location and purpose • Prior approval of the Sq. Commander • Registration • CAPF 31 (CAPF 17 for Senior Members) • Event Notification Forms

  9. Uniforms • CAPM 39-1 • All requirements for: • BDUs • Blues • Jackets • Additional Uniforms (Flightsuit, Alt. Uniform) • Timeline • BDUs – 60-90 days • Blues – 6 months
