Importance of Funding Our National Parks: A Letter to the Department of the Interior

On August 25, 1916, the National Park Service was established, preserving the beauty of America's natural landscapes. With around 380 national parks across the U.S., this initiative protects iconic sites like the Grand Canyon and the Everglades. Continued funding for these parks is crucial for their maintenance, conservation, and accessibility. This letter to Mr. Ken Salazar from Glenda K. Savoy emphasizes the need for ongoing financial support to ensure that future generations can enjoy and benefit from these national treasures.
