  3. Steps First, make a list of observations on the article based on the factors below. Secondly, write an introduction, 2 paragraphs and a conclusion based on these observations and critically analyse the article overall.

  5. Language and style • Proficiency • Range of vocabulary used • Creativity • Convention followed • Directness • Negative or positive tones • Clarity of language – dumbed down for the audience, or vice-versa? • Ease of understandability
