  2. In the light of the moon a little egg lay on a leaf.

  3. One Sunday morning the warm sun came up and –pop!- out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.

  4. He started to look for some food.

  5. On Monday he ate through one apple. But he was still hungry.

  6. On Tuesday he ate through two pears, but he was still hungry.

  7. On Wednesday he ate through three plums, but he was still hungry.

  8. On Thursday he ate through four strawberries. but he was still hungry.

  9. On Friday he ate through five oranges. but he was still hungry.

  10. On Saturday he ate through……… one slice of salami, one slice of watermelon. one lollipop, One piece of chocolate cake, one slice of Swiss cheese, one piece of cherry pie, one cupcake and one ice-cream cone, That night he had a stomach ache. one pickle, one sausage,

  11. The next day was Sunday again. The caterpillar ate through a nice green leaf, and after that he felt much better.

  12. Now he wasn’t hungry anymore – and he wasn’t a little caterpillar anymore. He was a big, fat caterpillar.

  13. He built a small house, called a cocoon, around himself. Then he nibbled a hole in a cocoon, pushed his way out and…………

  14. ………he was a beautiful butterfly.
