  2. African serval The servals legs are the longest relative to its size of any cat. The hind legs are shorter than the front. The serval can leap in the air 10-12 feet to catch a bird. Second to the cheetah in speed the serval achieves a speed of 45-50 mph. The serval was worshiped as gods by ancient Egyptians. Adam Bussey
