Estimated contract - December 2016 Orizovo - Mihailovo On 10.04.2016, at MISM Information is filed AF.On 31.10.2016, the comments have been received from MA OPTTI and questions for clarification and coordination of Jaspers, which are reflected by the Beneficiary in the shortest possible time. In relation to the comments received, adjustments were made to the end of this week and AF will be uploaded in the module for applications in the MISM 2020. Technical assistance for project preparation -Modernizationof railway lineSofia-Pernik-Radomir-Gyueshevo-border with Republic of Macedoania • Funding - operational axis 1,OPTTI- 9 765 700eur • The preparation of the railway section will be carried out during the programming period 2014 – 2020 • In progress is a technical design and preparation of detailed site development plan for modernization of section Sofia – Pernik – Radomir • Preparation of railway section Radomir – Gyushevo – border with Republic of Macedonia to stage “mature project” started in 2016 and should be completed by the end of 2019. It is expected in early 2017 to sign a contract for optimization and updating of the conceptual design. • Forthcoming activities: • Update of conceptual design of the railway section Radomir – Gyueshevo to reduceconstruction costs/value and final choice of трасе • Complementing the EIA report andperformance ofarcheological excavations • Preparation of technical project anddetailed site development plan of the railway section Radomir – border with Republic of Macedonia • Evaluation for interoperability of the project • Conformity assessment underLSP • Acquisition procedures • Building permit • Expected announcement of the procedure for selecting a contractor in February 2017 • On 13.06.2016 was submitted Application Form for financing preparation, according to requirements of OPTTI 2014 – 2020

Feasibility studiesfor the development of alternativerailway lines North-South • Funding – operational axis 3, OPTTI– 1 278 229 eur • Main direction of feasibility studies: • Ruse – GornaOrqhovitsa – Dubovo/Tulovo – Stara Zagora – Mihailovo – Dimitrovgrad, PodkovatoGreek border (extension to Komotini) • Ruse – Kaspichan – Sindel – Karnobat – Qmbol – Elhovo – Turkish border ( extension to Odrin orKirklareli) • Forthcoming activities: • Feasibility studies, analysis of existing capacity, throughput analysis, analysis of speed and gauge restrictions of directions, analysis of potential freight traffic • Option of version for development of meridian railway directions North – South, (from Danube riverto Turkish/Greek border), in connection with the project realization of intermodal terminal Ruse. • Expected announcement of the procedure for selecting a contractor in April 2017
