  1. The Benefits of Being Fit Being fit means that you are able to push the limits of your body and not face any serious consequences as a result. This means that you can run long distances, lift heavy weights, go for brisk walks and do all the other things that place your body under stress.

  2. How it works.. • When you start intense exercise, your muscles experiences a temporary lack of oxygen. Producing energy without air creates lactic acid. • High level of lactic acid in the blood creates muscular fatigue, what means that you can do anaerobic exercises for a short time only. Ideally, anaerobic and aerobic exercises should both be part of a good fitness plan.
