High School Graduation Requirements 3 credits • English: • English I/English I Advanced • English II/English II Honors • English III (or AP) • English IV (or AP) • Math: • Algebra I • Geometry • Algebra II • 4th year math • Science: • Physical Science • Biology • Chemistry • Social Studies: • World History (AP) • US History (or AP) • Econ/Government (or Full Yr AP Gov) • PE: • Health: • Fine Art or CTE: • Electives: • TOTAL: 4 credits 1 credit 4 credits 0.5 credits 1 credit 5.5 credits 3 credits* 22 credits *These science classes are recommended based on college requirements. AP courses and other science courses are offered but may not satisfy college entrance requirements.

  3. College entrance requirements (Arizona Public Universities) • Same as high school requirements EXCEPT • Need two years of SAME foreign language • Required to have one lab science in 3 of following four subjects • Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, Earth Science • One year of Fine Art • 4th year math must be a class for which Algebra II is a prereq • Courses taken at colleges (i.e. PCC) may be used to take place of certain courses • Deficiencies • May have two, but not in both math and laboratory science • Assured admission vs. Deferred admission
