A question asked of the class… Where in the sacred hoop would you place the following teachings? North During this portion of the presentation, an overview will be provided and we will discuss the four directions, representing each of the four seasons as you pass through the sacred hoop and the potential wisdom attained as you travel through each stage of life. As we pass through these life cycles, we retain the knowledge and use it in our daily lives. Winter Elder/Death Spiritual Respect Honesty Trust Love East West Spring Birth/Infancy Emotional Fall Adulthood Mental There is really no right or wrong answer however, the sacred teachings would tell us that every teaching begins with respect and would therefore start in the east.
