Interested in being part of the 2011 iGEM team? Submit your application by 5 p.m. on March 18, including your CV, unofficial transcript, and a statement of interest. Selected students will be interviewed during the week of March 21, and the team members will be announced the week of March 28. This is a great opportunity to contribute to an innovative summer project. Currently, there is no payment for participants, but only selected team members will be considered for future compensation if circumstances change.

Process • Submit an application • Selected students interview • Faculty committee (Eric Lagally and Joanne Fox) • Student committee (TBA) • Team members announced NOTE: This process is designed to be a preliminary headcount of who will participate this summer and usually closely reflects the group that travels to the Jamboree ALSO NOTE: Currently no students will be paid for their work this summer on the iGEM team. However, if this situation changes, only the selected iGEM team students will be eligible to be paid.

Then what happens? • Notification of interviews will be early in week of March 21 • Interviews will be held late in week of March 21 (probably March 24, 25) • Announcement of iGEM team will be early in week of March 28
