  5. Hobbies of Mine A hobby that I’ve had for a couple of years now is playing my xbox. This is one of my many sources of entertainment when I get somewhat bored and it’s the most entertaining one. On the right is a picture of the xbox that I own. Although I do play it constantly I don’t allow it to interfere with my school work and my studies. Other hobbies I have include swimming, bike riding and playing basketball.

  6. Midwood High School This is the school that I currently attend. It holds 4,000 students and is one of the top schools in Brooklyn, New York. I personally enjoy attending this school and am glad that I put it down on my high school application. There are a large variety of classes that always keep me interested and make me eager to learn. Here, I have met many new people who I know will be very helpful when it comes time to find a good college to attend.

  7. Constitutional Law Seeing as I want to make a career out of law in the future, this is an elective class that I have chosen to take. We mainly discuss issues regarding human rights and what makes them so significant. This class is also held in a mock courtroom located on the 4th floor of my school. This adds a very real feel to class and makes me feel like I’m in a real courtroom. I definitely feel that this class is a good way to push myself in order to become a lawyer in the future.

  8. My Mother My mother is one of the most influential people in my life. She makes sure that I set proper goals for myself in order to ensure that I’m on the right path to a successful future. Although she can be overbearing at times, she is one of the main people that push me to strive for success and nothing less.

  9. My Grandfather Here is a picture of a man who I have nothing but respect for. It is because of him that I have a strong sense of moral and know what values I should have. All my grandfather tries to instill in me is “excellence in education and thrift.” He has told me those words too many times for me to have dared forgotten them. This man, by the way, is my mothers’ father so I can only hold him accountable for making her the great woman that she is today.

  10. My community My community is something that is very symbolic to me. I was born and raised in Brooklyn my whole life. I live in Flatbush which is home to some landmarks in Brooklyn such and Kings Plaza and the Sears Tower. Flatbush Avenue is also home to Brooklyn College and my high school, Midwood. Here, at the heart of Brooklyn, it becomes very easy for me to travel to different places by use of the bus or train. I can honestly say that I am proud to call Flatbush Avenue my home.
