  2. Basic course in Semenology IUI This course is ideal for beginners as it provides effective insight into the field of andrology. The course will help the applicants learn about sperm per se and sperm processing techniques that are used for various ART procedures. Course Objective: This course aims at providing basic to advanced knowledge in Semenology and sperm preparation techniques. With our guided training, candidates will understand the procedure and would also learn to perform the same.   4. Advanced course in ICSI Our advanced course is entirely devoted to those candidates who wish to perfect their fine skills of ICSI. Course Objective: Those participating in this course will receive One-One training, develops knowledge & skills in micromanipulation Instrument handling & operation. Methodology of Training: Interactive session covering Basic instrumentation - Inverted microscope and Micro manipulator. Alignment of micromanipulator and loading of micro tools. Oocyte preparation for ICSI. Sperm preparation from various types of samples like ejaculate, PESA, MESA, Holding of denuded oxyne & performing ICSI should be separated point. TESA and TESE Do's & Don'ts of lCSI. Performing ICSI. Performing Laser Assisted Hatching (LAH), Intracytoplasmic Morphologically selected Sperm Injection (IMSI). Video and/ or live demonstration of Oocyte denudation for ICSI. Mechanical and chemical hatching. LAH (Laser Assisted Hatching) and IMSI.

  6. Introductory Course in ART This is an all-inclusive course that comes with integrated lectures and hands on incorporating all the ART techniques. This will also be including basic instrumentation and application support. Course Objective: This course is aimed at providing very comprehensive hands-on training on a one-one basis in all fields of IVF & ICSI. Numerous aspects in the clinical management of the patient will be enclosed with the course to completely train the candidates. Methodology of Training: Interactive series of lectures with audio / visual aids by our experienced internal and visiting faculty. Video / multimedia presentation of critical clinical aspects of setting up of ideal IVF laboratory, follicular study, ovum pick up, oocyte stripping, Laser assisted hatching, oocyte - zygote and embryo culture and embryo transfer. One-on-one hands on training in following laboratory aspects: Routine analysis, advanced semen analysis, sperm preparation for IUI & ART. Dish preparation for IVF and ICSI. oTypes of media, media handling, aliquoting and subsequent storage. oOocyte and embryo handling transfer between the droplets and dishes. oCatheter loading for IUI and embryo transfer. oMicromanipulation components, mechanics and installation instructions. oAligning of micromanipulator, micro tools and preparing for injection. oSperm immobilization and mock injection followed by ICSI (use of animal oocyte). oGood Laboratory Practices (GLP) and QC/ QA. oCryopreservation of gametes and embroys (demonstration only).

  8. Certificate course in ART This certificate course can be explained as an extension of the introductory course in ART. This course is designed in such a way that it also includes a five day visit to a reputed IVF center to understand the live functioning of the ART procedures and sharpening of skills for another 5 days on their return back to IIRFT. Course Objective: This course targets at offering comprehensive theoretical knowledge about the subject coupled with all-encompassing hands-on training on a one-one basis in all aspects of IVF & ICSI. In this course, the candidate will be given an opportunity to visit and witness the actual lab setup and working of a reputed human IVF centre for 5 days. Approach of the Training: Collaborative series of lectures with Audio/ Visual aids by our knowledgeable internal and visiting faculty. Video/ Multimedia presentation of critical clinical characteristics of setting up of an ideal IVF laboratory, follicular study, ovum pick up, oocyte stripping, laser assisted hatching, oocyte - zygote and embryo scoring, extended culture and embryo transfer. One-on-one hands on training in following laboratory aspects: oRoutine Semen analysis, advanced semen analysis, sperm preparation for IUI & ART. oDish preparation for IVF and ICSI. oTypes of media, media handling, aliquoting and subsequent storage. oOocyte and embryo handling transfer between the droplets and dishes. oCatheter loading for IUI and embryo transfer. oMicromanipulation components, mechanics and installation instructions. oAligning of micromanipulator, micro tools and preparing for sperm injection.

  9. oSperm immobilization and mock injection followed by ICSI. oGood Laboratory Practices (GLP) and QC/ QA. Cryopreservation of gametes and embryos (demonstration only). Observer together ship in an actual clinical set up for 5 days,(no hands-on experience will be available). Evaluation of Candidates: MCQ's and practical demonstration of skills. Course Duration: 3 weeks Trainees will get: Course Manual and a certificate of Training accredited by Center for Medicine, USA on completion and access to in house facilities like library, CD's and internet (for reference within IIRFT center only). Note: 1.Service tax of 12.36% is chargeable on course fee for both Indian and foreign nationals. 2.Travel and accommodation is extra. IIRFT can provide assistance in arranging. 3.Candidate to arrange for breakfast & dinner. 4.During observer ship, travelling expenses from IIRFT to IVF center to and fro ( 3 tire AC Train) is included in fees. Accommodation, breakfast and dinner is the responsibility of candidate. Observer ship will be at Surat or Nashik or Pune or Ahemadabad.   10. Advanced course in cryopreservation Our advanced course can be defined as a "Cryo" oriented course that includes interactive demo, lectures and limited hands on. The course will enable the candidates to get exhaustively familiar with freezing techniques, instruments and protocols related to sperm, oocytes, embryos and blastocysts. Course Objective: This Module aims to deliver detailed theoretical & practical knowledge of Cryopreservation of sperms & Embryos. This course is apt for people who are well acquainted with procedures of IUI/ IVF/ ICSI. In this course, the candidate will be given a chance to visit and observe the actual lab setup and functioning of a reputed human IVF centre for 5 days. Methodology of Training: Interactive multimedia sessions covering Fundamentals of Cryopreservation. Cryo media. Freezers & their functioning. Sperm cryopreservation methods and limitations. Embryo cryopreservation methods and limitations. Vitrification concept, development, methods and limitations. Guided hands on covering: LN2 Transfer from & to cryocans. Filling of LN2 in to programmable freezer. Demo of programming for various samples loading of cryo straws. Labeling of cryo straws. Cryopreservation of sperm. Storing of cryo straw/ vials in Canister.
