Working from home hints & tips
- You can access PeopleSoft, email and your network files via Udo
- In your browser address bar enter http://udo.derby.ac.uk
- Login using your network user id and password
- You can also access your email via Outlook Web Access
- In your browser address bar enter http://webmail.derby.ac.uk/owa for Outlook Web Access
PeopleSoft
- From the top navigation select Work
- From the left hand navigation select Self Service > PeopleSoft Links > Finance Production
- You will be automatically logged into PeopleSoft
Network Files
- From the top navigation select Work
- From the left hand navigation select Network Files
Network files - navigation
- The screen works like windows explorer
- Navigate to your files using the right hand pane
- Click on a file then click the adjacent “get” to open/save to your desktop

- Navigate to the folder you want to put a file in
- Click upload button

- Find files select and click open.

- Repeat for as many files as required
- Click Upload
- Click to close popup
Email - via Udo
- In your browser address bar enter udo.derby.ac.uk
- Sign in using your network id and password
- From the top navigation select Communication
- A simple view to read emails is available – click the “My Inbox” hyperlink to transfer to webmail.
Email – webmail access
- Alternatively you can go directly to it by entering webmail.derby.ac.uk/OWA in your browser address bar
- Enter your login credentials and you’ll be transferred to webmail
