Validated and refined through 7+ years of customer input and acceptance

    From the employee’s viewpoint… Enter the NEBS website. Click on the link: Request Benefits Statement Enter SSN and PIN. Click on the Logon button Ten page, personal Employee Benefits Statement is generated and delivered in under 10 seconds.

    From the system viewpoint… FPPS data is downloaded weekly into a SQL Server database. (Can use alternate sources like PeopleSoft, etc.) When a statement is requested, NEBS software processes the request using 233 MS SQL stored procedures; 94 MS SQL tables; and 151 Cold Fusion programs. Uses 128 bit encryption through a SSL using VeriSign. Generates a letter with PIN number for new employees. Tracks Usage by Center Tables updated by Benefits Specialists Local reset of employee PIN.

    3 The demo… Upgrades including… Buyout Benefits & Calculation Salary History Report - Displays history of salary/grade/step increases and org /center assignments. Additional annuity calculations  (FERS conversions, physicians with PCA, etc.) Allow user-entered cost of living and locality pay adjustments for annuity calculations. New scenarios for prospective employees, new employees, etc. Allow access by all employees (temp, coop, etc.).  This will allow each employee to access their insurance coverage, accrued leave, Flexible Spending account deductions, and Long Term Care deductions.
