SemanticGov Mission • Reengineering of Public Administration (PA) systems • Internal Integration at the administrative intra- and inter- agency level • External integration with the society • Building an infrastructure for: • Offering intelligent services by PA to: • Streamline cooperation between PA agencies (both at national and European level) • Easy the discovery of PA Services by the customers • Facilitate the execution of complex services • Enable total reengineering of PA service provision Integrated, Intelligent Environment for Public Administration Service Provision at the National and Pan-European Level

  4. Planned Achievements • Analysis and Design of a conceptual & technical architecture for PA services • Create a top-level, reusable ontology for the PA domain • Implement the architecture for PA Service • Show cases, testing and integration

Work plan (I) • Work Packages • WP1: Overall conceptual analysis • Project presentation • State of the Art • Conceptual Analysis • WP2: Requirements analysis for national and Pan-European e-Government services • Study of relevant projects/documents • Identify technical, procedural, and semantic requirements for eGovernment services provision • Conceptual architecture (business view) for the Communal Semantic Gateway • Identification of the specific SemanticGov showcases • WP3: Design of Semantic Web Service Architecture for National and Pan-European e-Government services • Application of WSMF to Semantic Government service • Development of Mediator Support • WP4: PA domain ontology: design, and implementation • Conceptual PA domain Modelling • Design and Implementation of the PA domain Ontology Server
