All stage curtains, theatre wool supplies, and theatre wool curtains are manufactured in Melbourne, Australia.

  2. IFR Theatre Wool ITE IFR Theatre Wool is the most popular fabric used for stage masking and general- purpose drapes. This fabric is made up of 80% wool serge, 20% nylon, polyester & viscose and is black in colour. This combination allows the fabric to retain its woolen feel and form with the added benefits of improved durability & fabric density, reduced elasticity and resistance to abrasions and stains. This fabric is available in a variety of weights such as 375gsm (light), 525gsm (standard) & 650gsm (heavy). This fabric is inherently flame retardant to Australian Standards. No chemicals are used for fire retardancy. Note: Roll width is 1.8m. For more information, please see below link. IFR Proscenium Wool ITE IFR Proscenium Wool is the most popular fabric used for main stage curtains. This fabric is made up of 100% wool serge, is available in a variety of colours and weighs 525gsm. This fabric is similar to the Theatre Wool but is better suited for main curtains due to the variety of colours available. This fabric is inherently flame retardant to Australian Standards. No chemicals are used for fire retardancy. Note: Roll width is 1.8m. For more information, please see below link.

  3. IFR Velvet Velour ITE IFR Velvet Velour is the most popular fabric used for main theatre curtains in lieu of wool. This fabric is made up of 100% polyester, is available in a variety of colours and weighs 565gsm. This fabric hangs beautifully and creates the classic theatre drape look in any venue. This fabric is inherently flame retardant to Australian Standards and meets the standard for Proscenium Curtains as per the BCA/NCC. No chemicals are used for fire retardancy. Note: Roll width is 1.4m. Cotton Molton ITE Cotton Molton is the most versatile fabric for situations where the fabric must be 100% opaque or as a cheaper and lighter alternative to wool. Roll widths are 3m allowing seamless curtains to be 3m drop without joins. This fabric is also ideal for seat coverings. The most popular weight is 300gsm however lighter weights used primarily for stage curtain lining is available. The fabric is also available in a variety of colours including chromakey green and blue. This fabric is chemically treated for fire retardancy. Note: Roll width is 3m.

  4. Cyclorama Seamless Filled Cloth ITE filled cloth cycloramas are used in most theatres for use as a projection surface for lighting and scenery. The fabric is white, crease resistant, 200gsm and features a filled weave. This fabric is 100% cotton and is flame retardant to Australian Standards. This fabric is chemically treated for fire retardancy. UV Resistant Blackout Lining ITE Blackout lining is used in situations where the drapes may be facing a window and therefore requires UV protection from the sun. It also doubles to act as a complete light block. This is especially important for studios that require complete darkness. The fabric has a silky-satin side and a hard polyester side. This fabric is also ideal for cyclorama ‘socks’ as this fabric does not shed at all avoiding unwanted speckles being passed onto the main drape. This fabric is 100% polyester, weighs 280gsm and is inherently flame retardant to Australian Standards. No chemicals are used for fire retardancy. Roll width is 1.58m.

  5. Drape Tracks and Systems ITE manufacture, supply and install curtain and drape tracking for all purposes. ITE offer tracks in domestic, heavy (Theatre) and light duty applications. Track systems can be configured to be hand drawn, cord operated or motorized. Customized bends also available. Tracks can be fitted to suit all applications.
