  4. International DayVolunteers Needed • We will be needing volunteers to come out and help promoting FES on Thursday, November 14that the SSB Patio. • Volunteers will gain 10 FES points for volunteering. • If interested, please write your name on the International Day Volunteer Sheet.

  5. Thanksgiving Drive • FreeRice.com Food Drive • Each question answered correctly provides someone in need with 10 grains of rice. • So far, FES Valencia has provided through FreeRice.com 1670.2 days worth of rice to those in need. • Contest: • Person to donate the most rice through FES Valencia College’s group will receive a $25 gift card to Best Buy from FES. • Contest will end on Thursday, November 28th at 11:59pm. • To join FES Valencia’s Group, please visit FESValencia.Weebly.com

  6. FES Central Florida Chapter Holiday Party • Holiday Party • Friday, December 6th • Location TBA • 3PM to 5PM • More information will be provided through email as well as our Facebook page.

  7. Engineers Week Science Fair • Open to the general student population. • Participant may participate alone or in a group of up to 3 other students. • Projects must be approved by FES Executive Officers and FES Advisor prior. • FES will sponsor at most 4 groups. • Currently, we have enough to fund 3 more groups. • Each group will receive a budget of at least $100 to use towards their project. (May be readjusted depending on how many groups are formed) • To register, go to FESValencia.Weebly.com. • Engineers Week>Science Fair Registration • Registration opened until the day of the event. • Purchase Requests for items needed is required by December 9th. • The earlier this is turned in, the earlier you will receive the items you require.
