Appearance • A mouse is a small animal with soft fur, a pointed snout, round black eyes, rounded ears, and a long thin tail. • Most mice are about six to eight inches long.
Food • Mice will eat almost anything, even glue and soap! • Mice scurry over to their food, put it in there cheeks, go back to their nest, and eat it.
Young • The mother mouse can have babies at any time of year. • There are usually about five or six mice each litter. • There are about 5 to 10 litters each year, and mice can have litters every 20 to 30 days. • The mother takes care of its young.
Threats • Mice have enemies such as people and most meat-eating animals. Cats are best known for mice enemies.
