  4. Etiology • Overestimating happiness • Stress, low social support, single parent, marital problems • Parental efficacyexpectations • Difficult temperament,health problems

  5. Consequences • Physical growth • Behavior problems • Emotional problems

  6. Prevention • What can be done by the individual to prevent postpartum depression? • What can be done by society?
