BASQUE FOOD. Maria Goikoetxea Olano. There are two types of different foods. One is the traditional one, that’s what we eat at home, and the other one was invented by Arzak, that’s a very modern dish with traditional roots. The Basque food is considered some of the best food in all Spain.

  2. There are two types of different foods. One is the traditional one, that’s what we eat at home, and the other one was invented by Arzak, that’s a very modern dish with traditional roots. The Basque food is considered some of the best food in all Spain.

  3. The Basque people, we have a custom of eating a lot, especially during lunch or dinner. In the morning, always, we drink milk, with cereals or bisquits, some people drink orange juice. We eat snacks beafore having lunch.

  4. The second plate; meat, fish or chicken And then, the dessert, Yogurt. We eat three different dishes, the first plate; vegetables, rice or pasta

  5. Also, we eat something beafore having dinner. For dinner some people eat two dishes but others eat one. And to finish dinner we drink milk or eat yogurt.

  6. Here, we have some months in the spring, to drink s lot of sidra. There are especial places to have lunch or dinner. And the menu is always the same (omelette of cod, steak and cheese with nuts). During dinner or lunch we can drink sidre anytime we want. The sidre is in the barrils and it is in a especial temperature ( it has to be in a dark place and quite fresh).

  7. This also is very typical, when you go with your friend to drink some wines to eat pintxos or brotxetas. All tourists are impressed.
