Objective • Understand computer systems and design your own (Embedded) computer systems with Zynq-7000 • Understand ARM-based embedded computer systems • Design embedded computer systems utilizing the Xilinx’s hybrid FPGA device (Zynq-7000) • PS configuration • Custom HW design in PL • Understand AXI, interrupt, and DMA • Firmware coding, device driver, and embedded Linux porting • Get familiarized with Xilinx development environment • Vivado, SDK, Chipscope…

  5. Grading Policy • Midterm Exam: 30% • Final Project: 40% • Assignments: 20% • Class Presentations: 10% • Fail rule • You will be given an “F” if absent more than 3 times • 2 late show-ups will be counted as 1 absence
