Year 7 Electronics/RoboticsMonday after School 3:30 to 4:30 • Meet and program zig & zag the “on guard robots” • Or Timmy the smallest biped robot who can do press-ups fire a bow and arrow and even ask you to marry him! • Or Titan who is a bigger version of Timmy with the added advantage of being able to program him from a computer, even to the advanced stage of making him do a cart wheel! • You will start by learning to solder, build and program a cyberpet that you can take home. You may also have opportunity to build a robot from scratch with our Bi-liod kit. • See the following clips:

  3. Build a car to enter the F1 challenge Tuesday after school 3:30 to 4:30 • This will be a team effort from all year groups that will be organised by year 11 Resistant Material students. • Come along to the first evening if you are interested, details of the project will be given out and you may be given a task at that time. • Your mum and dad could also get involved with this project, all options will be discussed where you can put forward your ideas.

  4. Friday after school Textile Club • Mrs Wood is presently taking Year 11 students who are undertaking a GCSE in Textiles Technology, but I am sure she would be pleased to see and help you. • So if you wish to develop textiles skills or just want to make something from fabrics approach Mrs Wood.

  5. Other Opportunities • Thursday after school Tech club 3:30 to 4:30 is open to all wishing to complete work or just improve/learn new skills, all are welcome. • Struggling to stay after school? We also run lunch time clubs on every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday; this is on the same basis as the Thursday after school club, all are welcome. • There are a limited number of places be sure to register to secure your place.
