  1. Health shock is a new normal after the emergence of novel coronavirus • Due to Covid-19, Lower and • Mid-level income people are forced to live in poverty

  2. The entire country went into lockdown, which made daily workers lives miserable • Every economic activity is gone • to toss

  3. Ensuring healthcare for • all became unachievable • The well-being of poor citizens is not promising • Although • the charity work is amplified than previous

  4. The current activities can’t control the increasing poverty stats • Since independence, poverty is the biggest problem in India

  5. Lockdown worsened the conditions of the poor • Out of pocket spending for health is extremely high in India

  6. Due to which people are dropping below the poverty line • There is no healthcare budget for poor families to access privileged health services

  7. India is spending below 2% of the GDP on healthcare • To meet the healthcare requirements, a country must spend at least 5% to 6% of its GDP One in four Indians are prone to die before 70 due to the risk of non- communicable diseases

  8. Business closures and job losses are stirring up now • Think about the condition of daily breadwinners conditions

  9. Even the salaried may not be prepared for this pandemic • The essentials are available based on people’s spending level

  10. Immunity, Hygiene, and Clean Water are unavailable to poor • In-adequate nutritious food affects the poor children growth rate

  11. We must address the healthcare, hunger, and hygienic living conditions of the deprived • To fight with • Covid-19 now and afterward, raising the immunity levels is a must
