Celibacy From what you learnt about the role of Priests last lesson, why might celibacy be of benefit to them? • To define celibacy • To explain the importance of celibacy for priesthood in the Catholic church • To evaluate arguments for and against celibacy • 1 min to think of your own 2 reasons. • Pair with your partner to find 4 reasons Write a definition of celibacy. Explain 4 reasons why it might benefit priests to be celibate.
