  • Most people have no type of illness.
  • About 20% of the infected get West Nile Fever (Mild symptoms)
  • 1 in 150 of the infected will get a more severe form of the disease. (West Nile Encephalitis or Meningitis)
  • Symptoms can take 3 to 14 days to show.
