  2. 1 Cup of Plot • The story takes place in NEW YORK city in September 1895. Gina is 14 but she would like more education. But her father insist that work full-time with her mother as a helper always. So Gina starts sewing garments at Sidowski’s sweatshop.

  3. 2 Teaspoons of CHARACTER Gina A.K.A ANGELINA –The main character she is also a hopeful girl she is a hopeful girl because she never gave up her dream . • PAPA –An evil man because he did NOT want Gina to go to school he just wanted Gina to stay home and help. He is also GINA’S dad. • Mamma –A caring person because she encouraged Gina to go to school learn so she can be whoever she wanted to be she’s also GINA’S mom . • VINNIE – GINA’S BROTHER HOW OBEYED everything his father said even what he did not want to do. • TONY – A BOY how refused to be the town paper boy.
