Introduction • TTA (Telecommunication Technology Association) • Domestic Standardization Activities • Industrial ICT standard establishment • Coordination between industrial requirement and government policies • Proposal of National Standard (KICS) • Global Standardization Activities • 3GPP/3GPP2 Organizational Members • Activities on IEEE, ITU(R/T/D), AWG, WRC, and so on • CJK(China-Japan-Korea) standardization cooperation

TTA Standardization Procedure Done • Approval Process • 1st : Project Group (PG) • 2nd : Technical Committee(TC) • 3rd : Coordination Committee(CC) • 4th : Technical Assembly(TA) • Meeting interval (General) • PG: several times a year • TC: four times a year • CC: four times a year • TA: twice a year (Jun, Dec) • Need final draft doc by early Mar and early Sep

  6. 3. Transposition Work Status • TTA adopted 4 IEEE standards 16m, 16h, 16j and 16-2009 in June 2011. • Without any modification

  7. 4. Future Plan • TTA will deliver Certification C with hyperlinks to ITU-R by Sep 21. • Currently, 3GPP specifications for LTE-Advanced is in public hearing status. • Both hyperlinks for WirelessMAN-Advanced and LTE-Advanced will be delivered together. • Follow up the update of WirelessMAN-Advanced specification • To complete transposition of updated specification in Sep 2012, it is necessary to receive the final draft by end of February 2012.
