Faster Access for Developing CountriesGAVI and the Advance Market Commitment (AMC) Program AMC supply agreement announced March 2010 19 countries are approved by GAVI for AMC program WHO granted prequalification for Prevenar 13* Single Dose Vial (SDV) August 2010 AMC Independent Assessment Committee approved Prevenar 13 as eligible for purchase August 2010 First shipment to UNICEF through AMC executed on 29 October 2010 Yemen, Sierra Leone, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guyana, Mali and DR Congo initiated NIP programs with Prevenar 13 via the AMC *Trademark Prevnar 13 is not approved for the prevention of pneumonia caused by vaccine serotypes in the United States.
