Enhancing Change Management through Metamorphosis: The Acquisition Process in Porto City Council

This project explores the transformation of the acquisition process at Porto City Council, focusing on the architecture of the Electronic Shopping Platform, physical flow of merchandise delivery, order reception, supplier management, integration for contract and warehouse management, and economy savings achieved. The implementation of TradeForum and efficient purchase order processing led to significant reduction in processing time and improved effectiveness. Overall, the project resulted in a 68% increase in efficiency with purchase functions, demonstrating substantial improvements in cost savings and operational processes.
