Two actors have been famous who were ruling out the film industry in the 50s and 60s. The Important directors of that time who produced good movies included Krishnan Panju, Sreedhar, P. Madhavan, A.P. Nagarajan, A.C. Trilockchander, K.S. Gopalakrishnan and C.V. Rajendra. The major actors were M.N. Nambiar, P.S. Veerappa, R.S. Manohar, Major Sundara Rajan, Nagesh, Siva Kumar, Muthuraman, Balaji, Vijay Kumar, and Jai Shankar. Now talk about the 1980s time, the rise of the superstars Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan who later became the most famous actors throughout the film industry and beat the other cinemas. Among the other important actors are Prasanath, Karthik, Vijay, Murali, Abbas, Dhanush, Vijayakant, Sathyaraj, Prabhu, and Bharat. In the 1990s, actors like Arvind Swamy, Vijay, Ajit, and Prabhu Deva entered the Tamil film industry. The chain is increasing year after year, the new actor and actress came, the new trend has started and so on things happened and are still happening right now.
