  23. SOCIAL SCIENCES, BEHAVIORAL SCIENCES & HUMAN SERVICES Pre-law students receive special advising assistance in the TTU Pre-Law Program through the Advising Center at Texas Tech. Special Academic Opportunities: • The Child Development Research Center (CDRC) childcare facility provides daycare to children ages six weeks to five years. Students earn course credit and first-hand experience with child development. • Social work students provide more than 11,000 hours of service to the Lubbock community in practice classes and senior field placements. • 3+3 Law School Programs • Legislative internship programs in Washington, D.C.
