Time Management • Time management is when you manage your time appropriately to what is important. • When it comes to time management you cannot wait until the last minute to try to do what needs to be done. • It is important to put first things first so you can do what you want to do in the end.

  3. Self- Management • Self awareness as well as self monitoring fall under the category of self management. • While the actions of managing your life and separating the important aspects of your time and the less important, you have to be aware of what you are planning and your goals so that so you can continue a stable academic path.

  4. Self-Monitoring • It is a form of metacognition • It is a mind set on what is needed for a task. • Be aware of all the things that you are responsible for.

  5. Self-Awareness • Self- Awareness is the ability to distinguish whether or not your choices and actions are morally correct or just the right thing to do. • You have to be aware of the significance of your choices and the outcome of each choice that creates.

  6. Self-Control • Self control is how you manage yourself. • It is a skill you need to keep yourself in line when it comes to university. • You can’t let your emotions get the best of you.

  7. Going Beyond • Academic Behavior is something that you can use in your daily life. • In college, you are not treated like a child. You are on your own, so you have to do the work the day it is given and do not procrastinate. • You need excellent study skills for you to be able to survive in college.
